Afghanistan - No stabilization. Troops come home. Political mess.

The U.S. Economy - Up and down, but signs of improvement.

The GOP nomination - Romney

Defense Spending - If Romney wins, contractors go big. If Obama wins, contractors go bust. Today's world is all about contractors, not actual infrastructure. Suits over soldiers.

Blackberry - Bye Bye Now.

Netflix - Price increase. With studio contracts expiring, titles decrease. Possibly the beginning of the end for somewhat of an unstable business model.

Iran - More posturing against Israel with little to no action. More human rights violations. More strife for it's people.

Misc. topic. - Movies - No chance Dark Knight Rises is as good as The Dark Knight. Avengers will kick ass. Amazing Spider-man will be a piece of shit.

Afghanistan
Why would anything start changing now? Our military could leave or stay, it makes little difference to the welfare of the country, just to our federal budget. Our presence is unsustainable but the political changes needed are unlikely in 2012.

The U.S. Economy
Grows at 3% and everyone ignores the fucking inflation like they always do.

The GOP nomination
Gingrich-Huntsman ticket.

Defense Spending
A small net decrease that is championed as fiscal responsibility. Funds that would have gone to Iraq go to increase intelligence spending and domestic corporations, functionally similar to a stimulus.

Blackberry
Harvesting season will peak during June in the South, and in July in the North.

Netflix
I still won't subscribe to this in 2012

Iran
The US starts to care less. Just like I do now.
