This fight is harder than it looks, and if you never played it before or seen someone do it it was be really hard. Anyway, the maiden was of a pure soul and traveled to the deepest and most vile area of the game and offered up her soul, thus making herself a demon souls possessor, to save those apparently forgotten about since they are wretched and insane. Her bodyguard even made this trip with here and sticks by her side until the very end. After he is dead, she commits suicide. Her has more dialog than in this video, and I'll find it at some point.

It just looks easy becasue it obvioulsy this guy has been through it before. The epicness comes from the music and the dialog, and if you played the game you would know what I am takling about. But anyway, this game is only like the only that I know of to come out of nowhere, win GOTY by multitudes of gaming websites and news fronts, ranked one of the highest games on metacritic, has won awards for being more unique and innovative than ANYTHING in recent years, and is in a class all by itself - you cannot group this game with any other game no matter how hard you try.

Shrine of Storms has got to be one of the most beautiful imagined worlds in a videogame. Demon's Souls was more striking and original when it came out but I think the Smough and Ornstein fight in Dark Souls is the most epic fight in the series. I would co-op that one with people over and over and be like fuck yeah the whole time.

I subscribe to the Japanese style of videogame design. We grew up with difficult games, why do we shy away from them now? Victory is sweetest when you've known defeat.

But you gotta admit that the first time you battled Capra Demon with those two dogs was probably more annoying. The Shrine of Storms is probably the most difficult for me, though I love doing invasions at the Adjudicators Archstone. I like the Valley of Defilement the best in this game, and I like the Painted World and Sen's Fortress the best in Dark Souls.

seedless, you got good taste. If you really want a challenge, you should try one of my fav games of the last few years ... Vanquish on God Hard. Most of the game on that difficulty is very challenging but the last two stages nearly made me lose my sanity. It seriously took me the course of several days to finish the last stage. Insanely hard. Truly the most epic boss fight of my life. I don't know why I put myself through these things sometimes. I think I chugged a few beers and danced around for a while after that one. I'm never growing up.

I got 2 worlds into this game and then it pissed me off. enemies teleporting due to line of sign bugs, total ass pain that there was no modern convenience like SAVING, and the whole time there wasn't even remotely a story worth caring about. if i wanted a mindless challenge, i'd play tetris.
