I've never gone out on Valentine's Day, usually cook our favorite foods at home and sometimes there are presents involved.


However, I just made reservations at the melting pot for us and another couple. Not really looking forward to the crowds and vday mark up, but it'll be fun.

You should always try and go out the night before Valentines Day. The food and service will be better 99% of the time.

I'm debating whether or to cook or go out (on Monday night) this year. I made a bad-ass rack of lamb last year that the lady enjoyed...but there's also a new restaurant we've been dying to go to for the past few months that I know she would like. Spend more money at restaurant or save money but put forth a lot more effort in cooking at home?? Decisions....
