Help!! My brother and sister in law have lost their pup, Tirra, a black husky, blue eyes, ~45 lbs. They let her out last night around 12:30 and she slipped out the gate not to be seen since. She is old, ~12. Hard of hearing, moves very slowly due to arthritis, and is probably very confused. If you see her, please contact me.

bttt

Been missing for over 30 hrs now. please share this with others you may know that live in the area: Powell Elementary / Glascock / Milburnie / Raleigh Blvd. Thanks. Yesterday we put up signs, canvassed the woods, walked along the greenway. We're doing it again today, and checking out the swamp. I even road through some businesses on Yonkers in case she crossed the creek somehow. We figure with her health/weak legs, he probably trekked downhill. But ya never know.

No luck at the pound unfortunately, but they have our flyer as well. Taking some to vets today too.

Thanks for reading.

I know I'm trying to remain optimistic, but this has crossed my mind.

^^i know right. My brother had an altercation with a neighbor who was acting very funny. We're very suspicious.

I went out with last night with a couple friends, my dog and a fifth. North along the creek trail, and pretty much all throughout the woods between capital and raleigh blvd. No luck.

Be happy she had this chance. Seriously.

If this was about some young dog in great health I'd be pissed. In this case though its actually probably the better thing.

I am if that's what she decided to do, but I don't think my brother and SIL will handle that very well.

Still looking today. If you're just seeing this thread and know people that live in or near this area (Powell elementary, king Charles, Raleigh blvd, Milburnie, Glascock), please pass on the word. Thanks.

My brother's ex used to live in the area (near Larry's Market)

I told her to pass this on to anybody that she knows that still lives in the area

Huskies run for days too. We had a Husky that ran off once and turned up a week later in Winston Salem

Yeah we've started checking shelters outside of wake county just in case she did manage to get that far.
