Thinking of getting some tix for me and my dad for the 600 in May. Where's the best place to sit? Never been to a left-turn palooza before

First rule of Lowe's Motor Speedway: It's called Charlotte Motor Speedway again. Naming rights expired and were not renewed.

Also, it's in Concord.

When I used to go, I enjoyed sitting in Turn 1/2 under the condos....makes the sun/rain less of a problem. The only thing is you can't see much of what happens on pit road.

Consider saving your money and taking him to the NHRA event in April. After attending a couple events, it is where I would rather spend my time and money. They put on a great show.

You should try to sit next to the person the track was named after

It's an oval. How different could it be?

Yeah, I fucking know. I've been to a NASCAR event.

lots of folks like sitting on the front straightaway, but i prefer to sit just in turn 1. you can still see them coming off pit road, but you can see all of the front straight and 1 and 2 great and you can see them going down most of the back straight too. turn 4 is also a good spot to sit. i sat in turn 2 once as well, but the race was rained out and i couldn't go back the next day. from what i could tell, those probably would've been good seats too.

Turn 2 stands are no longer there.

Just don't sit down too low or you can't see the other side of the track. I made that mistake last year when I went to the Nationwide Series race in may.
