I mean it is a huge game because it is the championship game but what % of the people who watch actually watched the games 2 weeks ago?

-Why does everyone pretend to be a giants/patriots/whoever is in the superbowl fan the day of the superbowl?

-Why do parties feature about 50% people who are just their to drink socialize and don't give a fuck about football?

-Why do people get hype to watch commercials? They may be funny but they are commercials.

I would like the superbowl a lot but everyone overblowing it every year makes me want to hate it.

You dont have to be a fan of either team to watch it. It's about watching the 2 best teams in the nation face off in a good game of football (instead of watching a slaughterfest of a higher seed team versus a significantly lower one).

An excuse to party as any other, people love to drink beer and socialize, this is just an excuse to.

As opposed to other commercials that we dont give a shit about, these are some of the most creative people developing what their company thought would be worth $100,000 per 30 seconds to put on air.
