There's definitely something weird about Mars.

We know it had lots of water and rivers/seas at one point.

And we know one of the largest craters in the solar system is on Mars.

What if Mars was in a different orbit for eons, where it had a liquid water surface similar to Earth, was hit by a giant asteroid, knocked off its orbit, and dried up?

What was Mars at this time, and what was Earth?

But, with that said, the "evidence" for ancient astronauts thus far is pretty weak.

obviously the giant crater is from a nuclear bomb the martians used in some worldwide conflict that destroyed all life on mars.
