Actually her comments were taken out of context:

was simply not the full story.

She references her husband, yes, but mostly her religion, but also said she had a change of heart after one of her 8 year old cousins says "You know, I think I want to stop eating so I can look like you"

So there you have it... 3 reasons equals a good debate in any argument.

what is so bad about being devoted to your husband

its not the most common thing in the world, but i would imagine the majority of people would understand her position. Its not just the walkin on the runway theres so many people prodding and painting and so much stuff to prep your body for

like i can imagine a newlywed who has found a great man would be like "you know, im just going to be what he wants me to be and not stress myself out to please designers and photographers, and I really want to save the beauty of my body for him"

aside from that, how does one determine model of the year?

is it the one that can force vomting without leaving pieces stuck to her finger during a photoshoot?
is it the model that doesnt have to steal from another models pile of coke?
is it the model who meets tom brady in vegas the most?
is it the model that wears tom brady's t-shirt the best when she walks to the cab in the morning?

No man or woman is worth quitting your career and giving your body to.



the man was already okay with her career and even advocated it.

the man is going to get annoyed by her decision because he probably liked her because she was a victoria secret model.

Now she is going to be a no-name model in sears and christian catalogs.

Men like a challenge, but she presents no challenge for him. I think he'll lose interest in her because she is changing everything who she "is" and of course she "is" what he likes.
