Whenever I get to the point where I've basically forgotten about Nickelback, some idiot has to make a thread about them and how much they suck.
This is how you remind me, TWW. 2/13/2012 3:52:39 PM

I went to a nickelback concert- but it was really the vans warped tour and they were a midday stage 3 act back when I wasn't even old enough to drive
does this make me a bad person? 2/13/2012 4:54:22 PM

i once saw Nickelback perform at the end of summer weenie roast in charlotte. this was before they were popular. they were even shittier then, if that's possible. Kroger was wearing a straw cowboy hat, like he's from alabama. bitch you're from canada, wear a hockey helmet or something. 2/13/2012 5:09:47 PM

^^ FWIW, there are way more cowboys in Canada than in Alabama.

I was actually in the front row of that concert. Me and several friends of mine are forever immortalized on the DVD they put out with shots from all the crowds. ] 2/13/2012 7:04:49 PM

The gf and I burned down with some of the guys on Creed/AlterBridge's tour bus and I ate one of Scott Stapp's bananas. True story.
Some dude was hitting on my gf at some metal show we went to at Volume 11. Went over because she was shooting me that look, and he turns out to be alright. Told me that he was in town for a show and wanted to know if he could get a ride back to his tour bus. Of course I asked him what he did, he says he plays bass for Creed. Assuming he's full of shit, I said something along the lines of "look man if you need a ride back to your house I got ya." He told me he was staying at a hotel that just happened to be on the way to my house, so we head out. Surethefuckenough, we pull up next to two swanky tour buses, climb up into one and meet a bunch of long-haired jesus-lovin rocker dudes. See top of post.
They offered us free tickets/backstage passes to the show the following night at walnut creek, which we of course respectfully denied. Cool dudes though, too bad The Stapp himself was probably blacked out being an asshole somewhere
Also my first concert ever was ALAN JACKSON because my dad couldn't find a babysitter for his date with some country girl that is now my stepmother, and my second concert ever was TINA TURNER for whom JOE COCKER opened. Probably for the same reason.
