I just discovered these recently. Who else loves these delicious legumes? What are your favorite brands? I like Lance but Planters are pretty fucking good. I bought some really really hot ones in a glass jar and gave them to people as a gag. They were entirely too hot to eat for any sort of enjoyment.

I try not to eat peanuts as much as I can. There are so many better, healthier [actual] nuts.

That said, I will NOM me some dry roasted peanuts if presented with them.

Doesn't Planters suck the peanut oil out of their peanuts, sell it, and then inject the peanuts with vegetable oil?

that is done in peanut butter, and "traditionally" gets replaced with hydrogenated fats, but there is no way to "suck" the oil out of a whole peanut without crushing it.


if anything, looks like they're adding peanut oil (and /or other oils)to the nuts.
