regular energy drinks do nothing for me.

however, i do enjoy drinking the supplement "c4" before workouts. that shit makes you feel like you can tear walls down.

red bull mostly, sometimes monster if i want to enjoy the taste (red bull has been reminding me too much of red bull vodka nights).

once i drank a red bull, monster, and 5 hour back to back on an empty stomach and started to get the anxious jitters and eventually a panic attack.

Sugar Free Red Bull

OMG! I love Red Bull. Like, I wish they made Red Bull without the energy. I'd drink it like some fuckers drink Diet Coke.

I avoid all of them except an occasional long and boring car ride, when I'll drink a sugar free Monster.

I drank a Java Monster once and I felt like my skin was going to fall off. Never again.

i, too, don't get many effects from energy drinks that are tangible.

but i'll drink the starbucks double shot mochas and monster chaos on occasion.

if i drink more than three through my stomach gets jacked up.

used to take shots of 5 hour energy to get ready for an early morning tailgate. or a long run.

now i mostly just stick to gallons upon gallons of coffee.

My go to energy drinks are 5 hour energy and amp or the orange flavored amp (tastes like orange soda). If I don't want carbonated, monster rehab is ok.

Regular monster tastes like rancid balls though.

any of the sugar free ones...preferably off-brand stuff that I haven't had before, just to change things up.

I like coffee, and the starbucks doubleshot things, but the big cans of Java Monster and similar drinks are GROSS.


I also don't really get any tweaked out feeling from them, unless I drink 2-3 of the big ones back-to-back, but I actually like the way they taste, and am a little bit of a caffeine junkie.

Full throttle occasionally, as much because I enjoy the taste as anything else. It doesn't really get me much more amped-up than a soda of comparable size though. I do not like Red Bull, Amp, whatever the shitty sobe one is called, or NOS. Haven't had a monster or rockstar in so long I no longer have an opinion.

Otherwise if I really need a pick me up I'll lean towards 5 hour and only take half. The other half I'll usually use the next day or something. But I can't take the whole thing because it makes me really jittery.

I also really like these for a hangover if I can ever find them

- Monster Rehab

There are well over 1000 Sugar Free Red Bull tabs (the blue ones) I'm sure. Maybe even over 2000.

This collection started in the mid-90s when rumors spread that a gallon of can tabs was worth $125 for kidney dialysis or something. Being young and dumb my friends and I put together close to a full milk jug before finding out it was a myth. I find it funny that I still run across people who believe this from time-to-time now that everybody has the internet, but whatever.

After our collection was deemed worthless I just kept collecting them because I thought they looked cool. Countless sodas in high school, thousands of sodas and beers in college and throughout my 20's, and several years of substituting Red Bull for coffee just sort of added up.

But frankly, I still think they look cool and that's why I still toss the can tabs in vases.

btw...2,000 Red Bulls @ $1.50/can (I got the vast majority of them by the case at Sam's Club) is closer to $3,000. Not $30,000. I'm assuming you thought they were all Red Bull tabs, but it's a mix of all types of drinks.
