This is the last debate before the primaries next week in Arizona and Michigan, and last one before Super Tuesday in under 2 weeks which is when a huge chunk of states have their primaries (which is also part of why NC is usually irrelevant for primaries since we go much later). In fact, early voting for the primaries next week are already happening.

One of the states that goes next week is Michigan, where Romney was born, and where his dad was Governor. He's been playing it up as his home state heavily, so he has a lot riding on it. Santorum is nearly tied with him in the polls there.

I wont go on about their policy positions or what I think of them, I just wanted to spread the word about the debate that's coming up in about 15 minutes on CNN. This debate could decide who the GOP candidate is.

I liked Romney's statement that he just made. Most candidate hear a question, and then try to cleverly and subtly pivot to their stump speech. Romney just had the most thinly-veiled pivot ever: "you get to ask the question you want, I get to give the answers I want."
