Unfortunately plans fell through and I need to find a place in a week. Looking for a 2br under $900 near Wade Avenue. I live in an old place now and want to make sure I find somewhere that isn't some surprise craphole. Otherwise just trying to find a place near Wade. Any experiences with the looking/living in the area?
Looked at Raleigh Towne and Oberlin Court (a bit higher then I'm shooting for). Was considering Sumter Square, but their living rooms are fairly small. Are Trinity or Colonial Grand any good? Their reviews are fairly hideous. 2/23/2012 9:39:12 PM |

I own a place off Wade that I rent out. I have renters in there now but you might want to check Craigslist for condos in that area for rent. Lots of people but condos around Fletcher Park and rent them out for around the price you're looking
Look for 27605, Washington Street, Washington Square, Parkridge, Bishops Park, Bishops Park Reserve, Brighthurst 2/23/2012 9:57:51 PM |

I used to live at Oberlin Court but a two bedroom was more in the $1400 range although you can get a small one bedroom there for around $900.
Try using PadMapper (http://www.padmapper.com) to look for rentals by owner in the area. It aggregates all the listings from places all over the internet then places them on a Google Map so you can zero in on the area you're looking for. There are a ton of individually owned town houses and condos in the area and you can probably find a two bedroom for around $900 if you go that route. 2/23/2012 9:58:29 PM |

I've lived at Raleigh Towne Apts for 3 years now. Good stuff - not too shabby, new owners are fixing up a ton of things, nice pool for summer. I think new leases are running $950 or $970 though. 2/23/2012 10:30:05 PM |

Nice - I forgot about Padmapper.
Anyone live in Villages of Lake Boone/Landmark? May check out the Enclave today, even if its a little out of the way. 2/24/2012 11:20:08 AM |

What Cass said--def. check out the condos around Fletcher Park and between there and Cameron Village. Lots of 2br townhouses/apartments, most of them for rent by owner or individually listed through property management companies. 2/24/2012 11:23:42 AM |
