This may be a long shot (in there actually being a place and anyone here knowing of such a place), but...

Does anyone know of a place around Raleigh or Cary I can buy single, or small packs, of vellum in different colors?

It doesn't have to be vellum, I just want the translucent properties of a typical sheet of vellum. But it has to be something I can draw on and that will hold up.

I've tried Jerry's Artarama. They carry vellum, but but not in various colors.

And he found it there, just not the color he wanted. The three I said have large scrapbooking sections and more color choices I bet. I have bought sheets of vellum at AC Moore many times for scrapbook projects.

Michael's in briar creek had a little bit of what I was looking for. They had a light pastel blue vellum, and a few other translucent papers that were one color. They actually had quite a few translucent papers, but most of them had some sort of pattern on them.

I'll try an AC Moore and Office depot/max over the weekend.

thanks.

^^ Make sure to look at the packs of paper as well since those will have more solid color choices. And use the 40% off coupon on their website!
