Getting a new car tomorrow morning in Fayetteville but have to be in Charlotte in the evening. Any good back road routes to take that may have anything cool to see? Tobacco barns, countryside, etc.?

The ride from Fayetteville through down plank/manchester road to southern pines is nice for scenery. Horse farms, rolling hills, hardly any traffic. That's at least heading you in the general direction. Of course, the weather is gonna be shit tomorrow so you are probably out of luck for good scenery.
