Quote :
"Squirrel Melt sandwich
Ingredients
one squirrel (poached in simmering water)
pecans (you know how squirrels like nuts)
mayo
English muffins
Cheese
After poaching the squirrel, remove meat from bone and shred it.
Stir the meat together with pecans and about a cup of mayo. Spread on halved English muffins, top with cheese, and broil in the oven for a few minutes.
Squirrel melts: you must try them!"

I'd rather make a nice hearty stew from the squirrel.

squirrel is kinda dry, hence the mayo. a full cup for one squirrel seems like a lot. I guess they want the squirrel to go a long way.

That makes me think of stories my dad used to tell of his mom giving his sister one can of tuna and a jar of mayonnaise then telling her to use that to make enough tuna sandwiches for five siblings. To this day he can't eat tuna sandwiches.
