I misstepped on a huge staircase stumbled and worked my ankle over good. Its fractured and sprained.

Already getting stir crazy in the house, not able to drive.

Pain meds make me too high to work, let them wear off and it throbs. I have started doing as much as I can as quickly as possible on the way down, then the next dose chilling for an hour or two.

i had one of these when i blew my leg up.

the plus side is that if you have to travel, you'll skip the security lines.

that's about all the plus sides.

unless you enjoy the way those boots will end up smelling. with no real way to clean them.

When I broke a bone in my foot in college and my boyfriend (now husband) had a severe case of mono, I would take my boot off to drive to the grocery store and then put it back on to get out of the car. It hurt like a son of a bitch, but I had to take care of bidness.

once the throbbing goes away a little and moving around does not hurt so bad I might

the boot is going to take up the whole right side of my driver foot area tho :/

I thought driving was against your restrictions, if you've got a cam boot on your right foot?

Surely the pain meds would be though If you drive, and get pulled, just don't tell the officer you've been taking meds.

i banged the shit out of my ankle this morning against an ammo box, its gonna have a nice bruise

luckily its my left ankle so i was good driving earlier
