i'm about sick of thunderbird being a piece of crap...i refuse to use anything higher than 3.1.19 because they suck donkey balls, but NO version of tbird has decent support for google calendar...lightning/provider blows and the problem with the google cal tab extension will only work with one calendar
i have 4 google/gmail accounts...i need them all and no, i don't want to forward any to another
must be free, must not suck...thoughts? 3/6/2012 2:10:20 PM |

PS. 3.1? thunderbird sucks regardless, but have you actually tried 10.0? 3/6/2012 7:48:11 PM |

^ yes, and i can't think of a single reason to upgrade...3.1 is cleaner and less memory intensive 3/6/2012 7:55:28 PM |

Only email client that I've ever used that worked well with multiple calendars was Outlook. It actually supports google calendars pretty damn well too.
But it's not free, so you're probably just up shit creek.
If you find an alternative lemme know, because I'd be interested to try it out as well. 3/6/2012 8:43:24 PM |

i do not have 2-step verification enabled for any of the 3 personal accounts...my NCSU account (managed by google/gmail) doesn't even have the option under account settings

^ having 3-4 windows open at once (in addition to windows/tabs for work) is just plain silly...especially when it works in one place and not in another (implying that the issue isn't global, but localized...and therefore fixable) 3/26/2012 8:23:42 PM |
