If hunting down Osama taught us anything, it's that hunting down one specific person in a 3rd-world region is costly, takes a long time, and makes the people in that region pissed off at us.

We'll invade Uganda on a false pretense of finding Kony when all we wanted is oil, spend $2 trillion in occupation costs, have the rest of the world pissed at us, think he's hiding in dense jungles the whole time, only to find that 10 years later Kony was hiding in a compound in South Africa all along.
