bush
cheney
rumsfeld
wolfowitz
ashcroft

those barbarians would be a lot more apt for that pic than obama.

but it seems like obama is trying very hard to get there too.

^^

of course, it makes no difference that he was the benefactor of nearly ten year's worth of intelligence in the region, including the identity of his personal courier, information all gleaned while bush was in office

who am i kidding? clearly, if you're a democrat, the only time you can talk about carryover from a previous term is if you are talking about something negative.

PLZZZ DON'T ADD ME TO THE LIST!

srsly, credit for military operations belongs to the generals and intelligence agencies. not the fucking president. but i will give obama credit where credit is due...his warmongering is right on pace with bush!

^^^sarcasm. all i'm saying is, the amount of credit obama tries to take for bringing down bin laden is insulting. as president, all the credit he deserves is for telling his commanders to stay the fight as soon as he took office. When they planned the operation to get osama, he was probably in a room full of generals showing him pictures and charts, telling him "just give the order. we're sure we can take him down". bush, or any previous president for that matter would have done the exact same thing.

although, end the end, i'm not sure how much this kind of stuff factors in to public opinion of the potus, or elected leaders in general. as an interesting aside, i'm pretty sure winston churchill was voted out of office in the election following the fall of nazi germany.

He obviously didn't call shots in the mission or plan it; he just had to say yes or no and took the opinion of several people into account
