it is worth the money, i try to see them whenever they come to San Antonio.
too bad can't take photos in the show. something about cameras flashing might distract the performers causing them to fall

Plus it's annoying to audience members. The whole show would practically be a strobe light if you could take pictures. 3/18/2012 6:34:28 PM |

^ I was really disappointed with that show. There was far less of the impressive acrobatic stuff than I expect from a Cirque show. It worked as a tribute to MJ, but really didn't seem like Cirque to me. 3/19/2012 10:48:46 AM |

^Ditto. I was really entertained, but it didn't feel like the other shows I've seen where I've been amazed 3/19/2012 11:38:54 AM |

O_o
are you trying to saying your point-and-shoot flash is useful beyond 20'? or that your flash is not distracting to the performers? you're wrong on both accounts.
Quote : | "Have you ever been to a concert or seen a concert on TV? When the artist comes out on stage, the crowd goes wild and you can see a bunch of flashes from people trying to take a picture of who or what is on stage. Guess what, they probably got a nice picture of the person directly in front of them, but not a very good picture of whom or what was on stage. If the area is dark and your subject is more than 20 feet away, chances are the flash will not help you at all. You can either try to get closer or try to take a picture without the flash (picture will be brighter, but most likely out of focus). Do you know how to turn the flash off?
NOTE: The person with the bulky SLR has a flash distance of around 30 to 100 feet. At a concert, the person with the bulky SLR would get almost the same results as the guy using the point and shoot camera if they were both standing more than a 100 feet away from the stage. " |
