I've noticed some confusion on this subject.

trolling: In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

satire: In satire, vices, follies, abuses, and shortcomings are held up to ridicule, ideally with the intent of shaming individuals, and society itself, into improvement.

Depend on who you are. The softer your opinion, the softer you get trolled. The stronger your opinion, the stronger you get trolled. Especially when you're right.
