Time for a thread, dammit. Too much is happening to keep up with in the other ones.

They finally passed the rule putting playoff overtime in place for the regular season. Can't see anyone disagreeing with this move, ans winning the coin toss and kicking a FG has been a terrible way to end games for years. What I want to see is if any coach has the balls to onside to start OT. Because the other team has an attempt to field the ball, it counts as a possession for them, so you would just need to kick an FG to win. Conversely, if you fail to recover the kick, the other team has the ball probably at midfield or your 45, but they still need a TD to win. Seems like the odds would almost be in favor of onsiding here. Unfortunately, the one coach with the balls to do it is gone for the year.
