So, got my tax refund back today. On a fucking pre-paid credit card. Whose bright idea is this? Any way I can get this shit transferred, or am I just gonna have to go to an ATM and withdraw the whole damned amount?

It was a choice you made because you either did your taxes with some software package or a third party tax prep service. Why didn't you get it direct deposited?

You can probably go to your bank and request a cash advance. I've only ever done it with Mastercard's though (Check cards included). Not sure if it works with a Visa, but I couldn't see why not. I can do it online with USAA, but they only offer the MC option.

go buy a tv at walmart, return it and give them a different card (visa/debit checkcard is ideal) to charge back the purchase? Just tell the clerk you can't charge back to a prepaid card.
