included is all the hardware you need to listen to SiriusXM in your home and car

-Onyx headunit with all the brackets/mounts/doodads that it comes with new
-complete car kit with cigarette power adapter and magnetic antenna
-antenna splitter kit (the Onyx has a built-in FM transmitter, but this lets you wire directly into your car's radio)
-cigarette outlet (this can be hardwired up to the fusebox/battery/whatever so you can hide the power connection under the dash or wherever and have your cig lighter or power outlet available for other stuff)
-XM boombox. runs on AC or batteries. http://www.xm-radio-satellite.com/browseproducts/AudioVox-XMBB1-XM-Sound-System.html
-remote that can be used with the boombox or in the car

everything works fine. i bought a truck with XM built-in, so i don't need this anymore.

how about $150?

This can only be used with XM though, correct?

I was shopping for a replacement a couple months ago and looked at the Onyx. If I remember correctly, you can only get certain Sirius channels on it, and even then you have to purchase an extra package.

it appears you are correct. you could only use this headunit for packages listed under "for XM" on their website.

i don't really know the differences between the channel lineups for sirius vs. xm. it's all there on the website.
