Get the wal-mart take & bake pizzas from the deli. Those things are good. Also large.

Papa Murphy's also isn't frozen, or available in grocery stores.

but in terms of take it home and bake it yourself, it is very comparable in price, fresh, not frozen (not sure why being frozen would be a plus?) and way better

granted, it's not as widely available as walmart pizza, but if you have the option (and anyone in raleigh or cary has the option), it is the clear cut winner

Papa Murphy's is walking distance from my house. Walmart is not.

Can't say I've ever been to Papa Murphy's though. Always assumed it was a Chinese knock off of Papa John's.

haha

but for real, give it a shot! I'm worried the one over by me (oberlin and wade) might not be around for too long because I never see anyone else in there picking up anything (maybe they feel the same way as you?), but I will be a patron as long as it is an option

Papa Murphy's isn't at all comparable in price to frozen grocery store pizza, except for maybe the super expensive organic ones. Their prices were on par with Dominos except you have to bake it yourself. I really didn't think it was particularly good when I had it either, definitely better than frozen pizza but that's a pretty low bar.

How do you figure? I pay 6 bucks for a regular, and 8 bucks for a double stuff (which is literally twice the pizza, and 1-2 slices is more than enough). They always have coupons AT THE FRONT DOOR so you don't even need to keep up with the ones they mail out. So a dollar-ish more pizza for fresh and hold the whatever i want? I think so. Im not saying digiornos is a bad choice- im saying papa murphy's is a better choice

California Pizza's frozen supermarket pizzas are better than the one they make in their restaurants.

I remember looking at the Wal-Mart deli pizza's label one time and being turned off by something. I wanna say it's something about the cheese but I'm not sure. Although they are still better than those Mama Rosa's pizzas in the Food Lion deli, those things are naaaaaaaasty.

Had it once and was not impressed. For the price I guess it's good. But with the ongoing Pizza Wars between PJ, Dominos and PH they have better value.

I got drunk one night and...

"“I just thought that I would pass along my thoughts on the Pan Pizza "Better Value or Your Money Back" promotion. I originally purchased this frozen pizza because of the 5.00 sale price and the catchy 'guarantee' which I can safely say even if the pizza was akin to stale cardboard I wouldn't have sent out for. So the fact that I'm actually taking the time to fill out a comment card should speak volumes about the quality of this particular product. I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed as it greatly exceeded my expectations, which granted were not that high -- I mean we are talking about frozen pizza. I will say though, that I actually prefer it to the chain pizza specials going on right now from any of the top 3 franchises. Even at full MSRP I'd have to say it's a better value -- and better tasting at that. Anyway, that's all. I just wanted to pass along some positive comments to an inbox that most likely (but hopefully not) favors negativity and wish your company the best of luck in the future. "
