There should not be speed limits on major highways. Speed limits were created to help with a gas shortage. We got plenty gas

^^^ no, i live in FL. I was just posting.

and out of 5 years of living in FL, I have only gotten one ticket (speed limit changed from 40 to 20 in a school zone, but only when a yellow light was flashing. I'd just moved here and hadn't yet realized that yellow light was different from a nearby yellow light that always flashes for a fire station.) I got a ticket for 42/20, but wrote a letter to the court, resulting in me paying court costs and them not adjudicating the ticket.

I think I've only been pulled over one other time in FL, and that was to let me know that I had a taillight out.

Where you live is huge. I got pulled over 13 times in 13 months in WA. I've been pulled over twice in 5 years here.
