I did my due diligence, searching for recent thread titles containing any combination of 2Pac, Tupac, Pac, Shakur, even Hologram. 0 for 5. I figured it was worth sharing. Look at some of the threads on the front page of chit chat. It doesn't take much to meet that standard.

The first three folks to reply were, in order, Agent 0, EMCE, and jbrick83; typically, two valued contributors and one worthless sack. All late 20's to early 30's, all relative fans of the hip hop genre, a perfect demographic to give their two cents. But they neglected to in order to tout the fact that they were already aware of this performance. They had seen it on CNN and twitter. But no one had posted it here. Maybe someone had mentioned it in passing the 'Thinking about' thread or in the chatterbox, but those are free flowing conversations and can't be cited. This happened last night, late at night on a Sunday when people are already in bed. "Old" means something everyone is already aware of. This wasn't old. You just like chapping my ass. Congratulations, it worked.

I too, was responding to the question Slave posed. But also preempting his exclusivity on hip hop awareness because of my own insecurities that require me to assert myself in ways that make me feel like I'm better than him for trivial reasons.
