Ron Paul is having a money bomb and they are trying to reach $2.5 million. As you can see, we just surpassed the $1,000,000 mark!
If you can spare just $1 or spread the word so that others could spare just $1, everything helps.

If you hate Ron Paul, you can use this thread to tell us why you hate him. Calling him names without evidence to back your claims will most likely be ignored. Perhaps we can clear things up.

Ron Paul wants to abolish income tax. Income tax didn't always exist and it doesn't have to exist at all.

There is no reason why you shouldn't support Ron Paul unless you hate the words of The Constitution and don't cherish your civil liberties.
There is no reason why you shouldn't support Ron Paul unless you love the federal reserve printing money so much that our money is going to be worthless.
There is no reason why you shouldn't support Ron Paul unless you love spending money on other countries in foreign aid and not spending the money here at home.
There is no reason why you shouldn't support Ron Paul unless you love frivolous wars
There is no reason why you shouldn't support Ron Paul unless you love the federal government overreaching their power. For example, the federal government goes out and arrests those with medical marijuana even though it's legal under state law in california. The federal government has no jurisdiction to make decisions like that. 4/16/2012 7:00:01 PM

Ron Paul has a large number of positions that I agree with, and he's probably the least shady legislator in DC, but he also has some batshit insane positions that'll keep him from being anything more than a rounding error. 4/19/2012 10:08:31 AM

Calling Ron Paul's policies batshit insane is like calling the art of guessing an answer to solve differential equations batshit insane.
(only people that has taken differential math will know what I'm talking about)
Moreover, If you think his policies are batshit insane, then you haven't closely studied the issues that you're calling batshit insane.

I'm still waiting for an insane policy of him
Quote : | "Chicken is the top-selling meat in the United States. The average American eats 84 pounds a year, more chicken than beef or pork. Sorry red meat, chicken is what's for dinner. And now the USDA is proposing a fundamental change in the way that poultry makes it to the American dinner table.
As early as next week, the government will end debate on a cost-cutting, modernization proposal it hopes to fully implement by the end of the year. A plan that is setting off alarm bells among food science watchdogs because it turns over most of the chicken inspection duties to the companies that produce the birds for sale.
The USDA hopes to save $85 million over three years by laying off 1,000 government inspectors and turning over their duties to company monitors who will staff the poultry processing lines in plants across the country." |
Surely, none of the current administration's ideas or mitt romney's ideas are insane at all. 4/19/2012 10:57:38 AM

Ron Paul isn't stupid. I'm sure if he was training as a biologist you'd be able to show him enough evidence that evolution is real. You don't need to be a biologist in order to field politics and human rights.
And you don't need to be a politician to be a biologist.
I believe in evolution, but I also agree that evolution doesn't explain everything. This is the reason why you still accept that Romney is Mormon and Obama is Christian.
I haven't seen you have a harsh stance on Romney nor Obama.

I'm as atheist as they come. I don't give a shit if a politician believes in evolution if they espouse the following views:
-Continuing the tradition of U.S. foreign policy (i.e. dumping on the rest of the world militarily and economically) -Drug prohibition -Endless debt -Ramping up the police state
Priorities, son. Priorities. People are dying. Lives are being ruined. Don't be the stupid American asshole that begrudgingly supports a warmonger because he pays lip service to women/gays/minorities/the poor. Obama does not give a shit about any of that. He cares about locking in profits for the corporations that pay him. He's Bush #3. The rhetoric changes, the policies stay the same.
With that said, Ron Paul is one of those "evolution and creationism aren't mutually exclusive" folks. I don't happen to agree, but I also understand that we live in the United States. Atheists don't get elected...at least not yet.

No, I know this is true because it's part and parcel of his fucking ideology. He wants to ultimately abolish the FDA, and while this is a separate program from the FDA under the USDA (livestock), it follows the same line of logic that says we should end drug inspection and regulation. Ask any honest, knowledgeble supporter of his like destroyernumbers how he feels about the USDA or FDA. You just have no clue what libertarianism is apart from vague notions. 4/19/2012 2:19:28 PM
