Hey women. There is a woman at work (she's about to be 29). She graduated from some school in Florida with an Associates degree in Marine Biology (I think that means she can swim with dolphins and stuff). She apparently didn't do it, because she's in charge of our Lean program at the plant I work at (she is pretty much the Lean "department"). She has no boobs (technically she does, but they're real small), is kind of thick and a decent ass. She's about a 4 or 5.

Anyway, from my gatherings on her personal life, she's kind of pathetic. She still lives with her parents and has dated 3 or 4 people at work. The first dude she's dated was a machine operator. Next she dated a fabricator. Then I think she dated our German IT guy and now she's dating our German Maintenance Manager. The guy was married before he came to America about a year ago and since October they have divorced (I think they started dating before he was divorced).

There's been at least one other guy she has tried to date (which she thought was gay after he turned her down, but he recently got married, though he no longer works for the company).

And now, I learned that she's "earned" the nick-name "Blowjob Queen." LOL.

So what's the deal? She seems desperate or something? Is it common for women to seek out men they work with or what? Give me some insight into the psychology of someone like this.

My experience is that lots of women in their late-20s really don't have that big of a problem living with their parents. I don't think the same can be said for guys... American guys at least. When guys do, it's only because they have no other option. Women will go with the 'rents because it saves $100/mo and the rest basically goes to an inheritance fund

Regarding the other point, regardless of whatever taboos we have about it, statistically, you are disturbingly likely to marry someone you work with or who works in the same general organization. The most major reason is because those connections are there. Compared to the general population, just meeting someone makes the chances that you'll marry them go through the roof. It also feels safer to many people, perhaps the same people who live with their parents.

I'm not a women, but obviously I'm an expert on them.

Other than I get why she lives at home. It just seems immature. How does she expect to get married and know how to take care of herself having never lived alone at the age of 29? If she was right out of college, then that's a bit different. But she's had plenty of opportunity for some independence.

Depending on how long she's been at the job, dating 3 or 4 people from work doesn't sound like a big deal. If she's only dating guys she works with and it's a large company, that doesn't sound too unusual.

Also, living at home with your parents really isn't that unusual. I know quite a few people (even married folks) who have moved back in with their parents to save money or care for their parents. With people having kids later in life, it's not too unusual for someone in their late 20s to have parents who are senior citizens.
