Didn't see it posted yet. Anyone think UCLA's mega class will save Howland's job?

With all the discussion about Virginia Tech and how good or bad a job is, how would you rank the jobs in the ACC?

apparently it was a mutual decision by stoglin and turgeon... apparently violating team policy 3 times, i think it was weed. apparently same with mychal parker, although he had already announced he was transferring.

Not sure what to make of that. Stoglin was really hard to stop and he had a great outside shot.

So what are the chances he's replaced with another UNC talking head to go with Bilas. I doubt they let Jay Williams take over.

gottlieb gave us so much love in the tournament.

as it turns out he doesn't hate us, he just knew sidney lowe was a bad coach.

So glad Davis isn't working on ESPN anymore. I don't want him at UNC either, but at least I'll only have to deal with seeing him more than hearing him...

Hubert was OK but just never took a stand.

Anyway, not shocking but besides still not being qualified, Nerlens has the NCAA sniffing around. Of course the hillbillies are crying "conspiracy."

Shabazz Muhammad ineligible for UCLA’s preseason trip to China

Muhammad has been declared ineligible while the NCAA investigates possible improper benefits provided to Muhammad by a couple of family friends. “Since the investigation won’t be totally clear, they wanted to hold him out for China,” a source told Zagoria. “He has class. He’s not going to miss that for China.”

"Using a point system devised by the ESPN Stats & Information department, ESPN.com is counting down the 50 most successful programs of the past 50 years. A running list of the top 50 can be found here. For an explanation of the scoring system, read our intro. If you disagree with the order -- and we're sure you do -- re-arrange our Top 25 here. Oh, and if your team didn't crack the top 50, click here to see where they rank among their peers.

50 in 50 rankings: No. 1 North Carolina

1. North Carolina (911 points)

Positives: In our scoring system, the Tar Heels have been a top-four program in each decade. They lead all teams in top-10 picks (22) and, as of this writing, have not lost any points due to vacated wins or NCAA sanctions. UNC has reached multiple Final Fours in each of the past five decades and made 13 straight trips to the Sweet 16 from 1981-93.

Negatives: North Carolina missed the NCAA tournament in eight of the first 12 years (1963-74) of this study. Had a stretch of six Final Four trips from 1991-2000, but reached the national championship game just once in a 22-season span from 1983-2004.

Fun fact: Carolina is the only team to win a national championship in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s.

Lots of twitter hate on ESPN for "glorifying" Calhoun but those ESPN people (Andy Katz, Rece Davis, etc) actually know the guy away from basketball and are close friends so they separate the person from the (sometimes shady) coaching.

Yeah, I'm sure Katz and Calhoun are best buds; I hear their families holiday together at a cabin in the Adirondacks every year. JFC, get a hold of yourself. This isn't the first time ESPN lionizes someone, and it certainly won't be the last.

Yes. I'm not complaining about it. They do it with everyone.

Recruiting guys (Telep, Daniels) seem to think highly of Ollie. Not so much for me.
