first off, wtf qfred, increase the character limit in thread titles - it's not going to hurt anything
anyway, I decided to hook up my insanely old iPod (4th gen I think) to iTunes andddddd I literally only put about 30 songs on there
it's "determining gapless playback information" and it's fucking being doing that for over an hour, and it's only on song 19 out of 30 :-\
I googled it, and all I can find are complaints, but no working solutions
also my computer runs really well normally (I'm on XP) but all of a sudden when I open iTunes, it fucking memory hogs the shit out of it, makes everything else slow as shit, and occasionally freezes for up to a minute at a time
I really really hate apple and iPod
but my major question (if no one has any insight about what I can do about gapless playback info) is, are there any other programs that would just simply put songs onto the iPod other than itunes? I can't stand this program

ugh, now I have to wait for whatever the hell is going on so I can eject the damn thing
this is kinda like having an external HD going, and trying to stop it
and it says THE VOLUME CANNOT BE STOPPED RIGHT NOW
what in the hell can you do about that bs? 5/3/2012 2:35:29 PM

whatever program is running, probably itunes, is tying it up.
CTRL-ALT-DEL
Task Manager
end Itunes
take out your ipod. 5/3/2012 2:38:40 PM

^^^^I can't access the music storage on my iPod Touch 4 through Windows Explorer, although I am able to access the photos and videos in my Camera Roll in this manner.
[Edited on May 3, 2012 at 8:37 PM. Reason : Also iTunes is good for backing up the device and downloading/updating/archiving apps 5/3/2012 8:36:55 PM
