How dressy is it, on a scale from 1 to 10? A friend wants to buy it for his mom, and I'm worried it's too dressy. I guess she doesn't dress up much...

i bought a (men's) Citizen Ecodrive with 16 or 20 or 24 diamonds (can't recall and don't wanna open the safe to confirm) for $250 a few years back

IMO, if you want to spend $100-$150 on your mom for a Mothers Day gift, get something useful that she would enjoy

if you want to get her a fancy watch, spend more than that...if not feasible holler at siblings and dad to maybe chip in on a Christmas gift or something

I bought that tortoise Michael Kors watch for my girlfriend's 30th birthday. She wears it quite a lot and it dresses up or down nicely. So that could be a good option. (Think it was somewhere around 170?)
