*induce

I'm already a fairly selfish and self-centered person, but I think I could do better.

What I could really use is some sort of pharmaceutical that temporarily induces psychopathy and inhibits empathy.

Any ideas?

i don;t know if it's a drug, but money and power tend to induce those

alcohol
cocaine
possibly benzos

these are going to lower your inhibitions and impair judgment

it can't make you a psychopath but if you're already an asshole it will amplify it

I've pondered this in the past. It seems life would be easier for a sociopath. temporary sociopathy would be even better

I'm imagining the benzos would inhibit feelings of anxiety and guilt related to cognitive dissonance

I guess I'm presupposing that the person in question has a conscience that would naturally incline them against psychopathic behavior
