The train that ran over the guy was going North, and I was on a train going south to DC on my way back from NYC. Here's the thing, my train slowed down to a crawl when it passed the scene of the grizzly death, and the dude said over the speaker "THE TRAIN IS SLOWING DOWN DUE TO POLICE ACTIVITY" like 10 times. So naturally, I look out my window... I'm sitting on the window seat.

First I see some cops walking around after we pass a stopped train. I'm thinking WTF is going on? I see guts, flesh, entrails, ALL OVER THE PLACE. It was horrifying, but I didn't know it was really a HUMAN until I saw a severed leg with a sock still on it.

This happened a few days ago but I can't get the images out of my head.

I mean, the AMTRAK engineers have radios right? I think they knew what was going on ahead, and could have said "If you do not want to see a grizzly shredded and severed body, do not look out the window."

Experiencing a train delay is not nearly as significant as seeing a pile of human guts, flesh, and severed limbs laying across train tracks. Even for purposes of making a thread.
