Hey all,

I wrecked my bicycle badly and rashed up my face. right now I'm cleaning my face up with hibiclens, using sterile wipes and rinsing the hibiclens after I dab clean with it. I'm wondering what is a good suggested ointment to put on my face help with healing and prevent scarring. I was using neosporin but I hear the neomycin sulfate can irritate.

Thank you

A&D works pretty great for tattoos, so I'd probably try that.

I would sanitize with Tea Tree oil keep it moisturized with an organic lotion. (Like at least twice a day with the lotion.) If you have scabs put it atop the scabs and definitely keep at it after they fall off. DON'T pick at them as this can CAUSE scarring.

Mederma is pretty good for healing without scars. Glad you're okay!
