Anyone experienced with GE microwaves? I need someone to inspect ours tomorrow and provide a written statement that it is in good, working condition before a Friday closing.

Weird I would think that would have been covered by their inspection report.

Just leave a pack of popcorn in that bitch and a post-it note saying 'press the popcorn button'

I really want to volunteer for this, only to show up and fail it.

this service doesn't exist because most people are smart enough to figure this out on their own.

hell, your buyer's agent should have shut that down.

the fuck?

Pass inspection.
Accept offer.
Insert bowl of forks and spoons.
Set for 5 minutes and hit start.
Drive to closing.

That may be the most odd request I've heard of from an inspection or walkthrough. Are you providing a home warranty as part of the deal? If so, all of the appliances should be covered and as such would cover the buyer in the event the microwave fails in the near future.

It would be way funnier to take a picture of an unpopped bag of popcorn, set the timer take a pic of that, then take another pic of the bag all popped, then take a pic of the popcorn in a bowl.

Make a .PDF will all of the photos and captions and send it over to the realtor. I would fall the hell out of my chair if I ever saw that.
