Miss Jones, who is actually named Lori, also revealed to the program that she has tried using various online dating sites as well as Twitter in an attempt to seek out a boyfriend. It was on Twitter earlier this year where she first announced to her almost 55,000 fans that she was a virgin. She also said on the program that she has grown accustomed to being rejected by men as a result of her beliefs. She said: 'Here's the two things that happen when you tell a guy you're a virgin, this is the honest truth. One, you tell them [and they say] "oh ok, I respect that". But you can already see in their eyes [that they're thinking] "she's lying about this and I'll crack it". 'So we'll talk usually one to three months [later], then they're like "oh shoot, she was serious". Time for me to exit.' The charming athlete proved how thick her skin has grown to be by joking about how she would like to be the next 'candidate' for a sequel to the film The 40-Year-Old Virgin. 'I'm a little bit awkward like Steve Carell,' she said. 'I could definitely play that role... I would love to.' She admitted that she has been tempted to have sex in the past. 'I've had plenty of opportunities… please understand this journey has been hard,' she said. 'I just don't believe in it… it's a gift I want to give to my husband.' Miss Jones, who has trained 'four to six hours a day, six days a week' for the past 12 years, was raised amid less than perfect conditions. She and her family were forced to live in the basement of a Salvation Army at one stage of her life, due to financial hardships. She said on an ESPN documentary titled Lolo which aired in the U.S. last night: 'I definitely would say, by sixth grade, I was a professional shoplifter. I was shoplifting frozen dinners at a grocery store. I could shoplift four frozen dinners, easily.' She added that her family once used food stamps to purchase staple items such as cheese and beans in supermarkets."

More power to her... and I hope she is able to stay a virgin till she marries, if that's what she truly wants. Amazing to be honest, given that she is American, and a pro athlete in touch with her physicality, wearing skimpy clothing. Only other virgin girls I know are the Amish and Mormons.

A good question for her would be if she's okay with dating/marrying a guy who is definitely not a virgin. I dated a 25/26 year old virgin before. We lasted about 6 months and it was probably one of my better relationships (maybe 2nd best next to my current one). We did everything but, so I got my rocks and she got hers. But she definitely had an issue with my promiscuous past...and although it wasn't the main reason for the break-up, it definitely didn't help.


Oh...and this girl is cute for an Olympic athlete...but she not that hot.
