A lot of people have been doing this to me lately, for no apparent reason. None of them are in a 12-step program. None of them knew I was leaving prior to their contacting me. But so far we've got the first dude to try to stab me (back in 2004) and the first chick to try to sue me (2005), and yes, I said "first" for both of them. And technically I guess the girl didn't apologize but she did strongly imply that I could put my penis in her, which amounts to the same thing.

So if any of you want to atone for something you've done to wrong me, use this thread to do so instead of calling me out of the blue at inappropriate times.

These things have happened since. I've been sued four times, first for libel, the next three times for the same traffic accident in which I was not cited and mine was the only car damaged. As for stabbing...well, I admit I've fled subsequent attempted stabbings so fast that I couldn't swear knives came out.

Meh. The lawsuits were all completely ridiculous. The first one was made by a hysterical woman and the last three were made by presumably non-hysterical but also un-educated women with lawyers whispering in their ears. I won't take the blame for that.

The stabbing was also pretty silly, though I'll take a little more credit for that one.

I'll be placing a premium on durability, which Hawaiian shirts frequently lack -- their only flaw. And I'll be ~3,079 miles away from South Africa, in Benin. By your logic wearing a certain shirt in NC should affect trends in Peru. (I can vouch it didn't work. I'd been wearing Hawaiian shirts for years before going to Peru and the trend had not taken off)
