What a joke. Internet is cheap as shit, these people are making a killing on it. I'm still mad that all flights don't have power & internet connections. Still stuck in 1970s technology.

why should they feel obligated to provide you a service that generates several extra costs for them?

I've been to a bunch of international airports recently and have been greatly disappointed in how many don't have free wifi. I almost always look beforehand and pick my connections based off of that. No way I'm having a layover without wifi.

The last time I used free WiFi in an airport was ATL, and I ended up getting my e-mail hacked.

If you travel, invest in a hotspot or at least tether your phone.

I'll sell you my AT&T login and password for $Delaware. Works great at RDU terminal 1.

^^^ You have got to be kidding me. "Oh God I don't have internet access for a couple hours, please kill me!". Buy a magazine or better yet get a book. It won't kill you to not look at porn and TWW for an hour or two.

If you find yourself in KRDU General Aviation for a while Landmark FBO has an open access point.

Big chain "nice" hotels like sheraton are worse. $12.95 a day for wifi (fuck they even charge for Ethernet) Holiday Inn Express gives it up for free.
