The full list has been released: http://newgtlds.icann.org/en/program-status/application-results/strings-1200utc-13jun12-en

Of those applications, the following were made by Google: .ads, .and, .android, .app, .are, .baby, .blog, .boo, .book, .buy, .cal, .car, .channel, .chrome, .cloud, .corp, .cpa, .dad, .day, .dclk, .dds, .dev, .diy, .docs, .dog, .dot, .drive, .earth, .eat, .esq, .est, .family, .film, .fly, .foo, .free, .fun, .fyi, .game, .gbiz, .gle, .gmail, .gmbh, .goo, .goog, .google, .guge, .hangout, .here, .home, .how, .inc, .ing, .kid, .live, .llc, .llp, .lol, .love, .mail, .map, .mba, .med, .meme, .mom, .moto, .mov, .movie, .music, .new, .nexus, .page, .pet, .phd, .play, .plus, .prod, .prof, .rsvp, .search, .shop, .show, .site, .soy, .spot, .srl, .store, .talk, .team, .tech, .tour, .tube, .vip, .web, .wow, .you, .youtube, .zip, and a couple Japanese TLDs and a Chinese TLD, which I can't post here without finding the exact Unicode code-points.
Some (like, notably, .gmbh and .web) are also the subject of other applications, so Google isn't certain to get them.

The Chinese one (last one in the list) means "Google" and sounds like "koo-kuh"
The pronunciations of the Japanese ones are as tchenku said; the first one means "Google" and the second, as persistently used by Miss Hannah Minx, means "everyone"

.com and .net/.org have been standards in life since the internet was invented. is shit gonna read "www.google.google"?

http://www.apple.apple?

that's lame and I think will break the internet and f shit up.

One potential idea is to use the TLDs as bare hostnames, so that http://google/ takes you to Google (idk whether ICANN's rules allow that, though); another is to, at least at first, make a bunch of domain names by taking the "com" out of their original ones, so you could search at http://www.google/ or do encrypted searches at https://encrypted.google/ or search for images at http://images.google/ or look up Apple stuff at http://www.apple/ or watch YouTube videos on https://www.youtube/ or access your e-mail at http://www.gmail/ (which may still redirect to https://mail.google.com/ or soon to just https://mail.google/).

Notably, however, nobody in this round applied for .memory, so there will still not be a real website called http://www.memory/: http://www.myspace.com/video/interested/alan-jackson-www-memory/4308872
(I realize the domain in the video is http://www.alanjacksonmemory.com and that redirects now to Alan Jackson's official website, but still the lyrics and title say "www.memory")
