I went into Pizza Hut to pick up a pizza and the woman ahead of me was getting all pissed because they told her it would be a few more minutes. As she was going into her bullshit lecture they found her order was just in the warmer. It was pretty sweet.

Seriously, my grandmother made the comment that people just didn't get divorced like they do now, which is one of the things that makes her sad over the state of this country. I asked her if people in every marriage back 60+ years ago were all happier than they are now in marriages (IE, were there people in unhappy marriages 60+ years ago). She said of course, but people just didn't do that sort of thing back then. So I asked her, "So what did people who were in an unhappy relationship do back then?" To which she responded that they just dealt with it. I told here that is what is sad, that society made it unacceptable for people who were unhappy to better their lives. The conversation abruptly ended after that.

Marriage isnt all happily ever after shit either. You have to make it work and that is what people like my grandparents and parents did. They made it work and it takes a lot of effort. People these days dont care to make it work and therefore we have a higher divorce rate.

no, im guessing that like me, he would assume that someone patronizing a restaurant would actually know how it works. jimmy johns is not a restaurant like subway where you get to customize every little facet of your sandwich.

you read the menu and you order the sandwich that sounds good. simple.

The only reason why divorce rates were lower 60 years ago was because of the societal pressures to not get divorced. The shame and economic hardship kept a lot of couples together where one person was not happy in the relationship.

they have a bunch of different sandwiches with different types of meat. they have a list of "freebies" you can pick and choose to add to the meat. You can also add hot peppers. and you can choose from white or wheat bread. so yeah, you can customize it pretty easily.

Look up what you want in advance, dont pay with coins, dont try and use expired coupons, dont order something that doesnt exist, dont be a scrub. If people somehow manage to create drama/difficulty/stress out of ordering a meal at a place designed to be easy and efficient, they are incompetent.
