Do you open the bag all the way, or only halfway?
I prefer to open it only halfway. 6/14/2012 1:16:51 PM

Do you ever forget your own strength, and rip the entire bag and fling cereal all over the kitchen? I have a few times.

1/3 way. My husband takes the whole plastic bag out of the cardboard box, opens it all the way, then tries to squish it back in after he rolls it up. 6/14/2012 1:18:39 PM

^^^^ Ha! I've done that before and then had to transfer to a gallon zip-loc and then back into the box. 6/14/2012 1:24:07 PM

1/3 to 1/2 the way
I hate buying cereal from Sam's Club/BJ's because you get 2 bags in a big ass box. Then you have to try and not pour the whole bag of cereal in your bowl because you don't have the box to help with the tilt factor. 6/14/2012 1:36:08 PM

how about those shitty foil bags with Smacks and Corn Pops? they never tear correctly. 6/14/2012 1:43:11 PM

Gotta be careful with those... but no matter how careful you are a huge seam will tear down the length of the bag. That's when you have to cut your losses and rip out a small u-shaped section to stem the breach. The goldfish cracker bags were notorious for that. They changed the design recently. 6/14/2012 1:46:30 PM

When I have to deal with those foil bags or one that seems to be closed with superglue, I just temporarily hand in my man-card and use scissors. I know, I know. :-/ 6/14/2012 1:54:51 PM

Anyone on here just dump out the cereal into one of those plastic containers? I always thought that was a more neat way of doing it. No idea why... 6/19/2012 12:01:31 PM

my wife rips the top of the bag all to shit, then eats like 1/2 bowl full, then just closes the card board without even folding or clipping the plastic to ensure that its stale as all hell by the following morning 6/19/2012 12:36:15 PM

all the way
then I fold it triangularly and close it with a clothespin
[Edited on June 19, 2012 at 12:40 PM. Reason : so it doesn't get stale, regardless of how much I want to open it] 6/19/2012 12:39:13 PM
