I AM FUCKING GENIUS

I had this idea year ago, too bad I fail at execution. Also not really cut out to run a pizza place.

NFL, a couple of Cici's in my area have gone under and that was exactly their business model.

Little Caeasar's has been running that special for about 10 years, so it must be working OK for them....granted there aren't a whole lot of little caesars around

1 large pizza and crazy bread = wife and I can eat for 8 bucks and still have leftovers... Nothing wrong with that...even if it isn't the best quality

There is a Little Caesar's right next to a Papa John's in Beaufort, SC. PJ decided they were gonna compete with LC and offer the same $5 deal last year. For as long as PJ could hold out, I gorged myself with pizza. But PJ gave up and I tried LC one day to realize "hot and ready" doesn't necessarily have anything to do with fresh. The crust had the consistency of pizza that had been sitting in the fridge for a couple of days.

This doesn't work for me. The only times I order pizza are when I'm way too drunk to think about carryout.

it's perfect for families with lots of kids, or group outings with lots of kids and they do a good job of marketing it that way. children don't have discerning tastes like most of us. they see pizza, they eat pizza.

we'll get little caesars at the office now and again because it's cheap and a few slices can be a quick fix when we have to work through lunch. but it's not like i'd ever choose little caesars when i'm looking for pizza dinner options.

The lack of Little Caesar's locations around here has a lot more to do with the owner of the Hurricanes than it does with mediocre pizza.

You clearly have never had the abomination they used to call pizza at the pizza buffet that was in RTP. I'm assuming it closed down because there's no way people would continue to patron a place that was worse than Cici's. They basically took plywood, slapped red sauce on it, melted white plastic on top, and called it pizza.

$5.55 gets you no nothing more than several pieces of toasted bread covered in cheap mozzarella and pepperoni. Wait... that's awesome.

We get this on occasion. Usually it's when we are contemplating getting a frozen pizza from the store and I realize I don't want to pay $6-$8 for a pizza that doesn't taste all that great just to bring home and have to wait 30 minutes for it to cook before I can eat it. So we'll just stop by the local LCs here in Apex that is just down the street

My brilliant idea was to turn what is now the dunkin doughnuts (which are crap btw) in to an LC with a drive through and keep that motherfucker open until like 5am.

I would put concrete pilings around the building to keep drunk people from smashing in to it.

LC pre-makes the "hot n ready" pizzas anyway so I don't see why a drive through would not work.

there weren't a whole lot... I think they are expanding back into this market. I'm seeing new ones pop up all over the place
