Anyone know where they sell this stuff? I remember seeing it at Sam's Quick Shop in Durham many years ago. I'm trying to get a case for July 4th. And yes, it tastes terrible.

lolz.

from the first review on beer advocate

Quote :
"Review from 12/19/08. Was lucky enough to find this rare brew at a Penn State party. Pale yellow in color with a fizzy appearance. With hints of rotten blueberry and old urine, you will be lucky to hold your lunch down after a couple of these. Crappy breweries like Bud and Miller use rice and corn instead of malt to cheapen their beer. My guess is that American Ice may use fecal matter.

Serving type: can"

It was the only beer I saw for under $10 for a 24 pack.

I did taste better than corona though.

^oh wow they made an ice version?

Why would you want to drink something that tastes terrible just to be "patriotic" on the 4th?

Go for some PBR, or some Sam Adams if PBR isn't your thing.

I'll keep you updated. Gonna try contacting the brewery after work today.

I checked at Sam's last year, the guy had no idea what I was talking about. I think I tried Total Wine as well, with similar results.

The <$10 thing only mattered when we were back in college. There are definitely much much better cheap beers out there, but for independence day, only American beer will do.

Haha, I actually don't remember where I found it. I had it a couple of years ago. It tastes awful. I couldn't help you now either because I live in Texas. Sorry.

get some 50-back from college beverage. 2.99 per 6-pack of glass bottles and its totally drinkable. no cans, so that may not work for you

I love that Budweiser costs €4, while fantastic Belgian beers are cheaper. At least where I am for the next few days
