Just bought an iPhone 4 from a friend who shattered the screen. I've heard of some places that will repair it for pretty cheap but have failed finding it on google.

Anyone know any good places, or repaired it themselves? I am semi-handy, not usually with electronics though.

Thanks!

I just saw a place in Brier Creek yesterday that specializes in this type of thing. I think it's called CPR (Cell Phone Repair?). It's over near the Moe's.

I've replaced the touch screen on my iPod touch, it's not that difficult. I would pick up a screen on eBay and do some research (youtube vids and what not) on how to do it. My experience was that the tools they sell you with the screens are worthless and I found using a box cutter blade worked really well.

That said I would first check the cell phone shops at malls to see what their prices are first, if it's more than you want to pay go the diy route.

its really not very hard... you just have to stay organized and keep track of the tiny screws.

takes about 2 hours. (the first time)

and no i won't do it for you.

it's really simple. if it's just the digitizer, it's super easy. http://www.amazon.com/replacement-Digitizer-Assembly-Zeetron-Microfiber/dp/B003ZU5X36/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1340799671&sr=8-1&keywords=zeetron
