at the airport the other day i was wearing a ncsu shirt and on 3 separate occasions i had people talk to me about how good the basketball team is gonna be this year

I saw a dude w an ncsu shirt on at a bar in Houston. I wanted to be like zomg go state! But I was on a date so I ignored it

Fuck it, just go for it. When you're away from the motherland it's too rare not too. It's worth the weeks or ridicule from colleagues for saying 'GO STATE' and flashing the wolf sign to some random ass person at a work lunch or out with friends.

When I was finishing day 1 of the ms150 in La Grange, TX, I spotted a guy along the finisher fence of spectators wearing an ncsu shirt. I caught his eye & yelled "go state" while giving him the wolf as I rode by. I saw the recognition of my actions in his eyes just as I was passing by. 'twas glorious

And you're right, I should have geeked out with my fellow alum at the bar. The date ended up creeping me out shortly thereafter when he said he googled me & figured out my last name & university before I told him such info. No idea why he thought telling me that was a good idea...
