I have no doubt it's the heaviest boson ever found, but does it prove the existence of Higgs field?

[Edited on July 5, 2012 at 12:48 AM. Reason : 126 GeV...that's fast.]

Well it was just a five sigma event i.e. 99.999%


You really need a six sigma to be super sure, right?
