One of the main reasons I had joined was for the GI Bill, it was time to go back to school. I might have stayed in if I was allowed to cross train into a different career field but I was on a profile at the time (recovering from surgery) so I would not have been allowed to cross train. I didn't want to make a career of the job I had.

There isn't, it's basically stay in for 20 and hope you build enough contacts to get a job at Raytheon or Dynacorp. Not that those are bad jobs, just not something I wanted to do.

I had fun while in and did manage to learn a great deal, I do not regret my enlistment one bit.

2. I'm not planning to, but most jobs I've applied to are out of state. I haven't applied to any jobs that would move me out of the country, but not opposed to it. I have friends all over Europe, Asia and the US and I'm not attached to this area at all. If I moved, it would most likely be to VA, PA, TX, MD or SC.
