Not sure exactly when it is, but I know I was less than 3 because it was at the house we moved away from when I was 3. Sitting in a high chair at that house eating.

Since both of these memories involve my father who died, I know that they both had to happen at or before the age of 3. I'm not sure which came first...

Watching Donkey Kong Junior on Saturday Supercade with my dad. I would shout "Monkey Muscle" and pound my chest.

Walking in front of the television and being told by my father to stop picking my nose and eating my boogers because it was 'nasty.'

I have a few memories of living at that old house. driving a little remote control race car i had around (well, it could only go straight and forward. control only had one button) and i'd drive it down the carpeted stairs a lot.

Return of the Jedi in theaters. Just glimpses of AT-ST walkers, Ewoks, Stormtroopers.

To this day, I have a special affection for that movie. As far as my brain goes, that's as far as my entire life goes back.

My earliest clear memory is of a beautiful sunny day at our house in Louisburg right before my parents divorced. I was four, my sister was 6. I was sitting at the dining room table coloring and she was sitting at the bar eating a piece of cheese. Mom had been gone a few weeks so my sister asked our father when she was coming home. Dad looked her straight in the eyes ad responded, "Never, she doesn't love us anymore."

I have vague memories of a lot of the doctor visits I had because of my kidneys when I was two and a lot of fuzzy memories of stuff that happened in the house I mentioned above, so when I was three or four, but that one memory is permanently engraved in my brain. I can see the sunshine spilling in through the screen door, feel the breeze, and hear the birds chirping.

I was put to bed in a crib and they turned the light off, but I wasn't asleep yet, I remember crying but no one heard me because they had gone outside

must have been before or around 2 yrs old

I remember my granddaddy would get me out of preschool early and we'd watch Godzilla movies and those monster shows hosted by Grandpa Munster

the only one whose exact chronology i can pinpoint is a memory from my fourth birthday. my parents sent me to the front door to see a train go by. after i watched it, i returned to the living room where some badass nerf swords were waiting for me on the couch.

I lived in Texas from birth until shortly after my parents got divorced when I was between 3 & 4 so any memory at our home in Texas was definitely before the age of 4 because my dad remarried by the time I turned 4

I clearly remember the layout of the home we lived in. My most vivid memory was at 3, riding my tricycle down the front steps & smashing my teeth back into my gums. I also recall going to a monster truck rally w my dad & someone stole my care bear barrettes when my mom took me to the bathroom & I placed them on the sink.

Another early memory, going hunting with my dad & getting our truck stuck in mud. One of the wives or gf's of another guy with us gave me lettuce to eat because I started getting hungry.

I think it's easier for me to know how early these memories are because I have strong reference points & didn't just grow up in the same house my entire life.

My first memory was also my first concert. I remember chilling out on the lawn at Merriweather Post Pavilion (in Maryland) at a Beach Boys concert in 1993. America was the opener.

I was born late 89 for reference, so I would have been 4.

My earliest memory is also at a hospital, in PA, when my little brother was born and I was 3 yrs and 9 months old. My mom had a c-section and then they put my brother in a xmas stocking bc it was dec 19. I was so excited by everything I was jumping on my mom's bed (post-surgery) and she almost killed me.

I honestly don't remember a whole lot before High School.

But oddly enough, usually when I dream I am in the house I lived in when I was like 6.

I remember sneaking up to my grandfather's room and stealing his cupcake. Grandma made cupcakes, I had already eaten mine and wanted another one, so I grabbed his. He was at home after surviving a stroke. My grandma caught me and yelled and my grandfather stopped her and said don't yell at little Carrie, she can have it, she's my little cupcake. He died shortly after this from a massive stroke. I was just about 3 years old.

McDonald's french fries.
That or dumping a big container of toys all over the floor after my grandma told me not to. IDK what was earlier but both must've been when I was 3.

In psych they say the great majority of people don't remember anything before they were about 3 years old. Anything earlier is probably an implanted memory.

We were at the beach. My father and I were in the water. With one hand, her was lifting me up over the breakers. He had a beer in the other. A big wave came and knocked me from his grip. I tumbled underwater and washed up on the beach. I remember him pointing and laughing as he drank his beer while I was choking up sea water.

One of the women who watched me vacuumed every day while we were there.

She'd say she was going to "get us" with the vacuum, and we'd stand on the hearth and squeal whenever she came near.

I was 3 years old. I was in the kitchen standing in front of the fridge. I couldn't read the time on the clock that was hanging above the fridge, but I do remember being facinated that the small hand was on top of the large hand; both were pointing straight up which I now know is noon. This made sense since my dad just left home and I could hear his car driving away through the kitchen window. He would come home from 11:00-12:00 for lunch to see my mom and me. I remember my mom asking me what I was doing. I'm assuming I was standing there for some time, staring at the fridge like a zombie because something about that moment felt special. I turned around and saw that she was reading a magazine at the kitchen table. She was young and beautiful.

There was something special about that moment. It happened to be my first memory.

I also remember pretending to help my mom clean. I would pretend I was a vacuum. My mom found a half eaten centipede in my hand during one of my 'let's pretend to help mom clean' things.

she was not amused.

i had an Optimus Prime sleeping bag at about age 3 I think. My sister was born in 1987, and it was sometime before that because I kept it in my 2nd room (which was always going to be for another kid, but at the time i just thought i had 2 rooms).

the only memory that might be older is of watching Super Bowl XX (Bears over Patriots) because my dad told me to cheer for The Fridge (who to me was just a fat guy jumping in the air).
